We are a small, international team of highly qualified white water rafting guides, and rescue instructors.
The safety of our guests is our top priority and our years of worldwide experience allow us to ensure your safety at all times on the rafting tours.
Paddling on white water is not only a job for us but also our passion. Our goal is to share this passion and inspire people to unplug, go out and explore this amazing playground, we call our home.
We offer rafting tours for first-time rafters, adventurous beginners, and experienced paddlers. With our local knowledge, we will make sure that you can enjoy unique adventures in the beautiful Swiss Alps.
OUR STAFF
Máté
Máté has been in love with the rivers since he was six years old. Eighteen years later, this love has given him 11 successful years as a professional flatwater kayaker and 11 years of working as a river rafting guide on three continents.
Before co-founding EOC, he has worked, kayaked, and traveled through beautiful countries such as Iceland, Nepal, New Zealand, or the US’s West Coast.
He likes to take photos, fishing, training for extreme kayak competitions, and free-falling off waterfalls in his free time.
His positive attitude and huge smile make everyone happy both on the river and land.
MENYA
Menya hails from Hungary. He graduated from college with a degree in agricultural engineering, and is also a beekeeper. He started guiding about nine years ago as and has guided in Austria, Slovenia, and the golden state of California. He is really motivated year to year to increase his rescue and guiding skills, and even competed in Swiftwater Rescue races. His passion lies on the river and this job. He is motivated to go with the flow every day, and find some “spicy lines” on the river. He became a Swiftwater Rescue instructor through Swiftwater Safety Insitute. His safety cautiousness matches with the the team’s mindset.

GASPAR
Gaspar, a former flatwater kayaker turned whitewater enthusiast, represented Hungary in various whitewater and kayak disciplines after earning a Master’s degree in Economic Sciences. With extensive experience in guiding and organizing training programs globally, he is an IRF Assessor overseeing the International Rafting Federation’s Guide Award Scheme. As a Rescue 3 Instructor, Gaspar conducts Whitewater and Swiftwater Rescue Technician Courses in Eastern Europe and beyond. With a deep understanding of rivers and rafting cultures worldwide, he has paddled 200 rivers. Gaspar is the founder of the annual Whitewater Rescue Challenge in the Austrian Alps and takes pride in producing specialized WWTC throwbags and raft thwart bags.

YOUR SAFETY IS OUR FIRST PRIORITY
All of our guides have the international and the highest Swiss qualifications, current CPR and First Aid certificates and minimum 7 years of whitewater rafting experience.
PERSONAL ATTENTION
We maximize the groups' size around seven person pro raft, which allows us to "micro-custom-ize" each trip to our guest needs and provide excellent service.
